The Position
ICG Commerce is seeking a Procurement Associate with logistics sourcing and supplier management experience to help customers drive tangible results. In this capacity, you will work directly with an ICG Commerce customer with responsibility for delivering category management services including, but not limited to, strategic sourcing, client stakeholder management, supplier performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement. Candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to the United Kingdom. Specifically, you will:
- Design and implement cost savings projects across multiple logistics sub-categories including but not limited to Over-the-Road modes and Ocean freight.
- Engage with customers’ senior management team members to drive and communicate progress.
- Measure and manage “suppliers’” (aka providers, agencies, etc.) performance relative to contracted service levels.
- Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements.
- Experience developing annual opportunity assessments across all logistics categories of spend to establish annual sourcing wave plans in support of achieving overall savings targets.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies.
- Coach and develop team members in their performance and professional development.

The Ideal Candidate
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Logistics or related discipline
- At least fluency in English, any additional languages such as German, French, Italian, Spanish would be an advantage
- Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to logistics materials and/or services
- Deep knowledge of multiple logistics categories including Over-the-Road modes and Ocean freight.
- Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint)

- Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end project cycles
- Significant proven competency in contracting/negotiation processes and best practices
- Excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
- Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
- Knowledge of procurement operations
Travel
- This position will be located at our office in Prague
- Travel: up to 25%
