Our client is seeking a seeking a results-oriented, driven individual with procurement experience in a wide range of IT/Telecom categories to work with our Client’s Fortune 500 clients. You will execute strategic sourcing projects that support our client’s business goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality and service levels. In this capacity, you will be based out of client’s Prague office and will have frequent interaction with team members and customers in the execution of projects that help customers achieve significant value in the form of improved pricing, quality, delivery, supplier performance and other aspects of total cost. Specifically, you will:
- Partner with clients/suppliers to identify and drive cost improvement opportunities for numerous leading Fortune 500 companies in the following category areas: IT Services – Software, Hardware and Wireless, Enterprise, Storage, Software, Laptop/Desktop Hardware
- Manage all aspects of sourcing projects according to team, account, and budget guidelines
- Establish and cultivate key client stakeholder relationships across organizations, building trust and support for each sourcing project
- Seek out opportunities to drive creativity and innovation within each sourcing project, while ensuring adherence to quality and timeliness standards
- Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives, ensuring IT Project sourcing team is supporting overall company direction and growth

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) from a top tier university
- Min. 2 years of experience in procurement, information technology and project management
- Consultancy, sourcing and/or category management experience within a Fortune 500 organization would be a plus
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking and organization/time management skills
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders or customers
- Proven competency in contracting/negotiation processes and best practices
- Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Travel
- Travel will be minimal in this role
