- manage integral parts of client projects in various sectors and regions in close cooperation with Project Management
- analyse structures, processes and frame & detail conditions of Purchasing & Supply Chain organisations
- analyse sourcing and supply markets both regionally and globally
- define and propose Purchasing & Supply Chain strategy, policies, processes and all related element
- identify or define and develop innovative, creative and pragmatic solutions for short term and continuous improvement
- manage and lead cross-functional Purchasing & Supply Chain initiatives
We have high requirements
due to the strong commitment to provide excellent value for the clients. We are looking for a high level of expertise in selected core skills. Good German and English language skills is required, a high degree of mobility is necessary to be able to stay close to client projects and requirements. We are also looking for creativity and the ability to provide sound advice to international clients. You should bring
- a relevant degree with good scores (diploma or master) in business administration, engineering or other equivalent area,
- professional experience in either Global Sourcing, Target Costing & functional specifications, Contract Management or Category Management (direct/indirect material & services)
- at least 5 years practical experience in a Purchasing or Supply Chain role, ideally on both operational and strategic level and you should
- be performance-oriented and have good analytical and synthetic skills
- be realistic, pragmatic and solutions-oriented
- have excellent communication and presentation skills
