Is an outsourcing business company with major accounts in many European countries. To keep up with its growth, the company is looking for its indirect Procurement Manager
Mission
Reporting to the International Trading Director you will:
- Implement Procurement Operations in Germany
- Lead the customer relationship, the Sourcing activity as well as the implementation of Processes and Reportings
- Management of best in class procurement activities to deliver Year on Year improvement in benefit for customers
- be a lead for cross country or customer opportunities
- Purchasing commodities include: HR services, facility management, training, fleet etc...
- Responsible for delivery of contracted savings to the customers
- Manage significant customers issue and dispute resolution
- Leadership of team with direct responsibility for coaching and mentoring of category heads
- Ensuring that the procurement sourcing team has the right level of resource and capability to deliver against strategic agenda
- Manage team cross functional team of direct reports
Requirements
The role requires an individual who is comfortable and credible in dealing with individuals at all levels across the customer operation including executive board directors. The candidate should have:
- Strong procurement skills, in depth knowledge of the category marketplace, extensive experience of managing C level relationships and broad business acumen are required in order to deliver savings and service targets to a diverse stakeholder base.
- Ability to lead the development of category strategies based upon exemplary supply market knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable strong leadership of teams with flexibility of management style with strong evidence of well honed diplomatic skills
- Senior level procurement and business management pedigree
- Extensive operational and commercial experience cross category
- Key successes and proven track record within the Procurement environment
- Experience of forming and managing effective senior customer relationships
- Previous experience of managing external customers in a demanding, service focused climate.
- Experience of leading a team of procurement professionals.
- Ability to deliver tangible results whilst working in challenging environments / relationships.
- Ability to face and resolve multiple issues in a collaborative manner
- Ability to plan, work to a structured timetable and be focused on deliverables
- Travels across Europe is expected meeting with customers and suppliers
Profile
- Engineer or Degree in Trade or Purchasing.
- Minimum of 8 years in purchasing and indirect procurement sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of the German market in G&S arena.
- Fluent in German, and English (French is a plus)
