The Position
Our client is seeking an eProcurement Project Manager to oversee deployment and management of eProcurement systems for Fortune 500 companies. In this capacity, you will be based out of our client’s office in Prague and will manage a team of process and technology specialists and 3rd party providers in order to help their clients get value from their eProcurement systems.Candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to Prague, Czech Republic
Specifically, you will:
- Provide oversight for all projects and upgrades associated with the system
- Ensure that the platform operates effectively and meets business needs
- Drive process and platform standardization
- Provide guidance to the customer regarding best practices
- Partner with the client to prioritize enhancements and oversee those projects through to completion
- Coordinate activities across multiple parties to ensure seamless performance
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/technology/engineering/ mathematics)
- Fluent English (business level)
- Expertise in working with Ariba platform (version 9r1 would be ideal)
- 10+ years of broad based technology experience with a concentration on implementing and managing ERP systems (hardware, software, databases, middleware, integrations, configurations)
- Experience managing a technical development or enhancement process
- Experience managing a client’s outsourced IT functions is desired, but not required
- Excellent analytical, time-management, multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (ie. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
