Over the past two decades in particular, our client has considerably expanded its worldwide presence. He has developed specialized skills in the planning, implementation and management of all processes related to in-flight services. Main Responsibilities
Business Strategy, Policies and Tools
- Analyze, develop, align cross-functional procurement processes and governance models to increase efficiency and productivity with positive impacts to the P + L’s of the Holding and the regions
- Enable effective communication between Procurement and other functions to enforce seamless cross-functional category management
- Work with Performance Management & Market intelligence to define and execute qualitative performance monitoring through KPIs and internal/external benchmarking
People development
- Analyze existing skills, the demand of trainings, identify the training topics
- Set-up training academy, course content, and run global procurement training academy
- Work with corporate and regional HR and procurement to implement consistent role profiles, career path and people development approaches
Projects
- Identify strategic projects that support idea of procurement excellence and Procurement Strategy
- Support execution of these projects through category management methods and process expertise
- Roll-out project results to other relevant regions/entities
Leadership
- Direct lead of team
- Ensure that area of responsibility is properly functionally organized, staffed and directed
- Guide, motivate and develop team members within Corporate Procurement Strategy and the company governance
- Plan, implement and control the process improvements and investments in the responsible areas; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
Main Requirements
- Tertiary degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
- Min. 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain or category management
- Very good project management skills in international and cross-entity settings
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional and cross-entity teams in and outside his/her control to outstanding levels of performance
- Ability to work in an environment of high ambiguity and political sensitivity
- Fluent in English (oral and written) and German
Conditions
- Reporting: You report to the VP Procurement Excellence
- Compensation package between 85 - 100 k€
